FAQs about Meat-Head
1) How can I be sure that my Meat will be fresh upon arrival?
We do everything to ensure that your goods arrive on your doorstep as fresh as the moment it was hand prepared by our specialist butcher. We use specially designed temperature controlled boxes and ice packs which ensure that the meat and fish products stay below 4 degrees for up to 48 hours.
2) Can I freeze the fresh Meat ?
Absolutely! You have two choices with your fresh produce: 1. Store in the fridge and consume within the ‘use by’ date or; 2. Store in your freezer and consume within 12 months and take out when you need it.
3) How quickly will my order be delivered?
Your order will be delivered within 24 hours from being dispatched. We deliver from Wednesday through to Friday. You can select your delivery date in checkout which gives you the flexibility of arranging for someone to be present to sign for your meat.
4) What if I am not in?
Before setting up this company we did a lot of market research and found most people wanted to be able to sign for their fresh meat delivery. On the rare occasion you are unable to find a method of having someone present to sign for the meat. You can contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org and request that your delivery needs to be left in a safe place. Please contact us the day before your order is due before 2pm. Meat-head would strongly advise that our standard procedure of getting a signature on arrival is best. This is because if you chose to do it without a signature it is completely at your own risk and responsibility.

6) How much does delivery cost?
There is no minimum order spend. However it is best to take advantage of our free delivery and spend over £55.
Any spend under £40 will be £12.95 delivery
Spend Between £40- £54.99 will be £4.95 delivery
Spend Anything over £55 will be FREE
7) How will I know when my order will arrive?
Meat-head offers a FREE premium text service on the day your delivery is due to arrive. You will receive a FREE text from parcel force giving an estimated arrival time to make planning your day easier.
8) Why don’t you deliver on a Monday/Tuesday?
As a young entrepreneur I have set this company up while juggling my studies so hopefully in the future we will be able to offer more delivery days.
9) The vacuum packed meats have an odd odour initially?
After having initially opened your vacuum sealed meat it is perfectly normal to encounter a slight odour. This is called ‘confinement odour’ and will dissipate after a minute or so once the oxygen has got to the meat. Let the product breathe on a plate out of the packaging and it will be absolutely fine.
10) How do I change/cancel an order I have made?
If you need to change/cancel an order please contact us as soon as possible. Provided we have sufficient time we will endeavour to alter or cancel your Meat-Head order.
